Downtown restaurant to close March 31st After nine-and-a-half years of operation downtown on Main Street, The Feed Store restaurant will close its doors at the end of this month. “I’m just tired. I’m ready to get off my feet,” said Sandra Fugate to the Voice on Tuesday, adding, “We liked downtown. It’s been a challenge at times, with the construction around town, but we’ve had a lot of loyal customers through the years.” First opened in October 1998, the restaurant will continue to operate until Monday, March 31st. Civic groups that have been booked prior to that date will continue until the closing, and Easter Dinner will also be served. Fugate says they’re trying to sell the eatery, and they do have a couple of persons who are interested in buying.
